I had my gynaecologist app on weds and he had suggested I go on injections that shut ovaries down, I've to take hormone tablets every day and he has booked me in for my 6th laparoscopy to remove any endo. I just don't know what to expect with injections as never had them before
Thanks

Im currently on my first lot of Zolidex injections along side livial hrt. Its not been that bad really I have another two injections booked in and Dr said it would stop my pelvic pain only if it was being caused by my endo or hormones. They want to make sure that if I have a hysterectomy it will definitely get rid of the pain as I am only 28. So far it hasn't been bad and I have had very few side effects. Its worth a try and if you don't like it you can always stop. Hope this helps x
I'm due for my sixth injection next week. I've been diagnosed with endo this week following a laparoscopy. I've found they eased my symptoms a little, but I am still taking codeine to help with the pain. I chose not to take any HRT and have found the side effects aren't too bad, only the odd hot flushes here and there. I think everyone reacts differently and I guess the only way to find out is to give them a try! Hope you manage to get everything sorted, all the best x
