Under precautions is listed a paragraph that states

"Some people who take high doses of black cohosh report side effects, including abdominal pain, diarrhea, dizziness, headaches, joint pains, nausea, slow heart rate, tremors, visual dimness, vomiting, and weight gain. You should not use black cohosh if you have a hormone-sensitive condition, such as breast cancer, endometriosis, ovarian cancer, uterine cancer, or fibroid tumors."

And in the section beneath that one it states

"Yale researchers also report that herbal medicines such as black cohosh may interfere with common breast cancer treatments, such as radiation and cancer therapy drugs."

Zoladex is a breast cancer therapy drug.

Please have a word with your GP about this before risking it.

It could mess with the hormone levels even more than normal, because with your pituitary being shut down artificially there is very little to regulate your blood pressure, metabolism, allergic reactions and so on. Leaving you rather defenseless if you do have a bad reaction, let alone the impact that it may have on the endo.

I would definitely advise some caution on that one.

The drug manufacturer also states it should not be taken with any other oestrogen products, so if are on HRT for example, then it shouldn't be taken,

in addition to that...

schwabepharma.co.uk/pages/p...

is the manufacturer's info page and it also mentions

Not to be taken if you have any oestrogen dependent tumours.

Well endometriosis and endometriomas are oestrogen dependent entities.

Definitely one to check with doc first.

Thank you I will x
