Has anyone had really spotty skin on face as a result of endo?

My skin is so spotty and is really making me paranoid. Any tips or lotions/potions docs can prescribe me to help?

I suffer with this really gets me down! I was going to ask the Dr I was using sudocrem because of the antiseptic in it it did help but not a huge difference.

Thanks for your reply. I think I may just have to ask the doctor too. Hopefully they can give me a cream or something. X

Me too! I have acne because of the endo. No lotions and potions work for me unfortunately but boots own brand witch hazel and tea tree products work far better at keeping everything at bay than the more expensive brands. I follow the endo diet which does help my skin and I do notice that when I eat gluten my skin gets worse. Drinking lots of water helps but other than that I don't know what else to say. I was put on some tablets by the doctor but they didn't agree with me. I hope you find something though! :) xx

hay girls,

There are loads of potions n lotions out there but I highly recommend dermalogica it's costly but it's a wonder product:) comes in allsorts of different lotions n potions for different skint types, different areas of body and face etc! best thing to do is find a salon or spa that sell dermalogica products, ( just google it) then book a face mapping appointment this will allow a dermalogica consultant to work out with u what products will best suit ur skin type..

I not only suffer with facial spots but also have bad breakouts on my back I used the dermalogica overnight treatment gel ( medibac/ it's light green label one if ur interested) on my face neck and back two weeks before my wedding and all spots were gone writhin 8/10 days and trust me my back was soo bad I even looked at having air brushed make up applied for my wedding day which cost a fortune! I still use it now prob once a week after a long soak in the tub.. products last ages as u only need a tiny amount as formula is so concentrated... oh and they do make up too :) good luck hope this helps :) much loves x

Like kitten feet the best stuff I found was the expensive facial products. For me it's elemis. I had a facial for my wedding and d girl asked bout my skin care regime. She said I sud be cleansing and toning. So i bought d two products and saw a massive reduction in grease after a couple of weeks.

I eventually bought the face wash which also helped and moisturiser.

I also think my bare minerals make up helps a ton as well. And covers up the odd break out well.

Anyway the point of the story is I've tried all the lotion and potions and the best thing for spotty greasy skin is a good skin care regime. It's alot of money initially but in the long term it's definitely saved me money.

Thanks for your replies. I've recently been using dr murad and it doesn't work for me. I used to use demalogica before I knew I had this and it was good back then. So I'll try it again. Thanks

Hi.i have suffered from hormonal spotty skin for many years and have tried just about everything.Although my skin is oily I found that most of the treatments were very harsh and made my skin flaky. For the last month I have been using The honey collection active clear natural acne treatment. It may not work for everyone but for me my skin is clearer than it has been for years! Worth a try? Good luck.
