Hi! Yes, my pain can often feel like that, especially at bedtime, it also feels like my sides are being crushed. I find a hot water bottle really helps along with all the usual pain killers. Good luck with the gyno next week, hope you get some answers. XX

Hi! I haven't had any sickness, (only when I was on Ibuprofen which I had to stop) but I do get very bad indigestion and nausea on occasions and I just prop myself up on pillows and take indigestion tablets. How bad and often are you feeling sick? It would be good to know if anyone else is suffering from sickness, as it's not something that I have had a problem with and I have severe endo. XX

Using a hot water bottle is great and also reducing the drinks you have that are diuretic help a lot too. Hope you're feeling better soon xx

I went back to my docs yesterday only to be told that the tablets the hospital had given me a couple of weeks ago are not anti sickness tablets like i thought,so that would explain why they were not working and i have carried on being sick{not happy},so now i have been given prochlorperazine, fingers crossed.

In all honesty in the 17 years I've been with my gyne consultant and his team I've never been fobbed off once. They have been extremely supportive and kept me informed throughout every decision that needed to be made, whether it be treatment or surgery. Please try not to worry, I think that sometimes somebody has a bad experience and it just explodes into the world and it's wife experiencing the same thing. I'm not saying that people haven't had bad experiences with their gyne, what I am saying is that it doesn't happen to everyone. Make sure you write down a list of the questions you want to ask, and also make a list of your symptoms, when they first started, when they come and go during each month and how you feel during these times. This will help you and your gyne when you meet. ALSO, ask for a copy of the letter your gyne will be sending to your GP, as this will stop you stressing so much during your consultation about how you will remember everything that you both discuss. I hope this helps. If you have any questions please just ask. xx
