Cant Sleep

Does anyone else find it really hard to sleep and when they do waking up throughout the night?? Im completely exhausted but can hardly sleep and when i do get to sleep i wake up throughout the night. x

Yes, I get this a lot when my pain is moderate (when its severe i dont get more than an hour or two if im lucky). When I get to the point I am exhausted with the moderate pain i start on the codeine - just before bed gets me 4 hours of uninterrupted sleep. Though with the sun and the heat at the moment 4 hours is wishful thinking x

Good to hear im not alone with this, thought maybe it was just me. Managed to get a couple of hours sleep. wish they had been in a row though. think i saw every hour on the clock. The heat is making me feel quite sick as well, normally i love heat but ive got a fan on in the room and windows open just to try keep room at a comfortable temp xx

I find extra strong mints when you feel sick with the heat and pain. If your sleep gets really bad don't hesitate to ask your GP for sleeping tablets - if you can just get a good weeks sleep it might help you in the long run x

Ive already got amitriptyline from the doctor as i have back issues (muscles likes to go into spasms sometimes) im supposed to take only 1 at night to help me get to sleep but these are completely useless ive been eating ice cubes today to help with heat not best solution but its working. I'll ask my gp if theirs anything else she can give me to help me sleep instead of these. I think if i can get a good sleep i might feel less emotional about it all x
