Can anyone please give me any solutions for heavy bleeding. Tranexamic acid doesn't suit me. It gives irritation in my stomach. Thanks.

I am on zoladex, but started to take norethistorone with it for 15days as I was having light bleeding. The doctor recommended that we sometimes give a course of 10-15days of norethistorone to stop it. I took 5mg a day for 15days. As I stopped it, the withdrawl bleeding started in 5days. It seems to be heavy. My zoladex injection has finished too. I think the bleeding is from stopping norethistorone and not zoladex. I finished zoladex only couple if days earlier.

i bleed as soon as my naristerone is finished for the 7day break...id say its more the naristerone....even if i miss one by accident it feels like my body gts ready to bleed....xxxx

I sympathise with you I take malfamic and transamic acid also prochlorperazine and loperamide for sickness and diarrhoea which they think is caused by the endo in my bowel and bladder, bloody stuff but the above combination seems to work for me. X

If you find you regularly get heavy bleeding ask about having a procedure called endometrial ablation. I had one three years ago and it made a huge difference. Before I had it I was really worried about going out during my period as it was so heavy.

My periods are now much lighter. The only problem is you do need to have finished having babies as it's dangerous to conceive without an endometrium. I was sterilised at the same time as the ablation.
