Hi guys! I’ve always had major issues with my knees dislocating and subluxing but now even if I’m sitting in a chair too long they continuously dislocate!😖 currently on a 2 hour bus journey and no matter what way I sit my knees are coming out!!! Does anyone else experience this?!

Buy some knee braces. Or ask to be referred to orthotics to have some made.
I did. Do you do any physiotherapy? If my experience serves me accurately, it may be because of your muscles' poor resting tone plus loosened patellar tendons from multiple dislocations. Try activating or squeezing your quads together periodically when you are in a fixed position. In the meantime, do consider using a knee brace with a patella stabiliser. In my experience, knee sleeves with patella rings and metal side stabilisers work best. I can literally feel my kneecaps "knocking" on the patella rings screaming blue murder as my malfunctioning muscle patterning tries to yank it out of place. Sometimes the muscles fall asleep altogether and my patella "drops" down or to the side (knee valgus really does not help things either). All in all, long term physiotherapy is my best bet. I am seven months in and seeing improvement in muscle tone.
