Just the usual

Bad nights sleep after another migraine last night. Was waking up still with migraine pain. TMJ dysfunction is making my jaw really tight and sore, and keep getting little flashes of the trigeminal neuralgia.

All over body aches like I slept on the floor last night, just feel tired and brain foggy and stimuli sensitive.

Just yet another bad day, can’t remember the last time I had a good health day.

Hi

I feel your pain - well not the TMJ Pain but probably everything else!

I am going through a very bad flare at the moment. I have hEDS with secondary fibromyalgia and all the comorbidities that go with it. I also have coronary artery disease.

There isn’t a day goes by without something else’ raising it’s ugly head in terms of pain, fatigue. Sublux somewhere spasm, ibs,

The fatigue I have at the moment is unbearable but I have ‘tiredness’ on top of it and as we all know there is a different feeling between the two and so difficult to explain to others

My GP has done almost every blood test known and all back normal.

I have had a headache following a migraine for last 4 days which makes me feel worse .

I am pretty sure I have cranio cervical instability which causes my headaches but this one feels somewhat different

Like you I can’t remember when I felt ‘normal ‘ last but I still ‘push through ‘ and to most people I seem normal.

Sometimes I do worry is there anything else going on that I just assume is ‘ just my eds/Fibro as the fatigue feels so awful.

My best therapy is ‘distraction ‘ though. I work just three very short days - and whilst people ask why I don’t give up (I am 61) I know that by going into work with a lot of young people it distracts me from my pain and fatigue.

I am trying to make more of a conscious effort to use my spoons wisely in the day Although it is very difficult

I generally am a ‘push and crash’ person - push push push the ‘crash’

And it’s hard to change!

It really does help to know that there are other people on here who share the same feelings and pains

I do hope you feel somewhat better soon.

I am trying to do some meditation on a daily basis having downloaded yet another app called Stop Breath think - which asks how you feel before you meditate so it customises a session for you.

It may help you focus on something other than your pain for a few minutes

Gentle hugs

Have you ever tried a mouth splint I had one made in 2014 after seeing oral and maxiliofacial with horrendous pain and discomfort I was unconvinced but I have to say I would now not sleep without it, apparently I also clench my teeth, unbeknown to me which was making things worse. In my jaw and head. The consultant also advised me to use voltoral gel on my head, within my hair, and on my tenples and jaw, I didn't know I could use it there.

I know exactly how you are feeling, fatigue is a horrible thing to have to live with and simply gets worse and worse. Hoping you can get some relief soon and start to feel less fatigued.
