Thanks for publicity

A couple of weeks ago, a group of young women with EDS from Derby were on our local news. In the week preceding, my mother heard a broadcast on BBC4 identifying EDS as a hidden disability. Thank you to all concerned for being out there!

My son suffers badly with the POTS and gastro issues elements of his HEDS. Like so many, he has been through the mill; at various points along the way being branded a school avoider (he loves school) and a hypochondriac. The more these hidden disabilities are brought into the open, the more understanding we can hope for.

Thank you! Thank you! To all who are out there raising awareness and especially to those involved in putting EDS into the media - that involves a lot of effort.
