Yes, in warm sunny weather especially. Since having ME, I can't take hot weather as my head gets more muzzy and I begin to feel ill. Then too, I feel the cold more than the rest of the family.

Hi.

Warm weather is not to much of a problem but just been on holiday and temp was in 30s. I was ill. Body was swollen, gastric problems, fuzzy head, dizzy, etc.

I'm the same as Maggie-mae in that I can't get warmed up at all. Have been diagnosed with Reynaud's

Warm weather yes, but not hot or cold weather, both make me worse and potentially really ill. Hard to cool down when it's really hot and equally hard to warm up when it's really cold! However it's not always associated with the weather. With the M.E. I have trouble with self regulation and can over heat or get chilled regardless of the weather and when I get the chills it's really hard to get warmed up again!

I can empathise the 'faulty internal thermometer' situation.

BUT..i love the ability to be in sunshine even for the shortest of whiles. As long as its not to hot then it seriously lifts my spirits.

Winter grey cloudy days are hell for me.

I've always assumed my drop in energy on a grey day is down to S.A.D, I'd never thought the ME could cause or exacerbate it. Interesting thought. Its very distinct, clouds move over the sun and bam, I'm in hibernation mode.

I am the same if it is too hot i really suffer. I feel sorry for my husband, he tries to be understanding but i know he gets frustrated that i cannot go out on the town on holiday nor can i wander round attractions in the heat. Any advice to help us would be most appreciated.

I saw an ad for a neck scarf once that is filled with crystals, gel I would guess, that you dampen and keep round your neck to keep cool. May be worth searching for.

I'm better in sunshine, even if its cold to some extent. Extreme heat saps me, which is infuriating as I'm an ex-colonial who yearns for the tropics.

I feel worse when its hot, and have noticed when I get cold I do not shiver anymore.

Winter has hit in Canada and I'm not sure how I will make it! In the house I wear socks, 2 sweaters and a big fuzzy scarf to try and stay barely warm. Had to wear sweaters most of the summer so I'm thinking winter is going to kill me.
