I'm hoping that joining Health Unlocked will allow me to talk to other people who also suffer from CF and mental health issues, like depression, that I can also hopefully get advice on how to tackle this as I have only very recently been diagnosed.

I too have recently been diagnosed with possible ME/CFS. How are you feeling and what are your symptoms? I still have to have an MRI but been booked to go to a CFS Clinic unsure what they will do but feeling positive. How long have you been unwell and do you still work?

I've been feeling this way since April but the mental health impacts only developed since the start of the summer. There are certain days where I am able to cope but a lot of the time my appetite isn't great and its just prolonged tiredness and headaches. It kind of sucks cause it prevents me doing things. Also I'm 16 so I don't go to work but I took lot of time off school and I had to drop certain GCSE's cause it was too much. I'm hoping going back to college in September will help give me a focus so I'm not constantly thinking about the illness.
