Microalbumin: My Microalbumin is 0.1 mg/l... - Early CKD Support
Microalbumin
based on the numbers I would have thought it was excellent! Normal range is between 0-30. Above 30 I’d say is a concern. From the number s on ur post, the result appear excellent. You’re no where near 30mg/l.
Do your results say anything else like “satisfactory no further action”. You may find comments on your on your patient record if you can access it online.
See if you check your patient record. Or phone reception and they’ll read out patient record to you.
Great number! Apparently you're not a diabetic; diabetics often wind up with the high numbers..
This paper suggests that ACR is actually only relevant for diabetics and PCR for non-diabetics pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/205...
Certainly my mum's nephro is relatively unconcerned about her microalbuminuria and ACR (160ug/ml or mg/l and 31 mg/mmol resp) and seems more interested in her PCR (45 mg/mmol = 0.45g/24h). Personally I think there's some uncertainty with albuminuria, particularly for solitary kidneys like mum.
