Water filter and ckd

Just read that my newly purchased Brita water filtering process can increase my potassium levels. Can anyone recommend a good water filter. Tried Zerowater but that filters out everything including things that are good for you!

Thanks

You could try and google Spardar. I have one fitted to my tap. I’m very pleased with it but haven’t looked into the potassium levels.

I agree with your concern. I have used Brita for years and years. My potassium level has never been a problem. BUT I wonder what is the alternative. Just drink the water out of the tap and therefore drink all the other "bad things" that Brita filters out? Drink bottled water which we have NO IDEA what the contents are, and even if it too is simply tap water, or water filtered by a similar "brita" process? Hard to know what to do.

I have gone back to drinking Evian bottled water until I can decide what to do! It has a lower salt content. Disposing of the bottles in lockdown is a problem as I live in an apartment. Worried also about the amount of plastic that I am using!

Hi all. I always use water filters in all springs, as clean water is perfect for my health. Recently my friend advised me osmowaterfilters.com/bathtu... , with the help of which I was able to purify my water, and now I can not worry about its purity. Numerous technical studies have shown that higher doses of volatile organic compounds are absorbed through the skin while bathing. Good luck, everyone.
