has anybody gotten really itchy, could this be high phosphorus, or something else, trying not to eat any processed food

ITCHY
Hi Sharonhell,
yes, itchy skin CAN be from high phosphorous. Do you have high phosphorous in your lab results. Phosphorous is many things including most dairy, meats and other not processed foods. It is also an additive to many things but will come up on the label with different names such as phosphate.

I get itchy skin if have too much phosphorus.
what do you do for it, been eating no meat or diary, ate out twice that was probably the problem
will the itchy feeling go away on it's own?
Orangecity41 what do you do for the itchyness, does it go away on its own?
I get it only when I am on dialysis machine. I asked the nurse and she told it maybe high phosphorus or sometimes allergies. But then, that didn't satisfy me at all because it happens only on those specific days when I am sitting there for three and hours. She recommended talking Benedril. By the way I don't have any known allergies so far. Has anyone experienced something like this and how do they deal with it? Thank you.
I put up with increasing itchiness and tiny blisters for several weeks, then stopped taking a statin drug as it was the last thing new. Within 24 hours a marked difference. In two more days, occasional itching and blisters healing.
