Change in creatinine level

I noticed that my creatinine level is higher than my usual .85-.90 (still within normal range though) ever since I started running. I usually run/jog up to 12kms 3-4x a week. Is this whats causing the increase of my creatinine level? How much is exercise is recommended for people like me who only have one working kidney?

Quite possibly this is why the increase. But running only 7kms total in a week is not a lot.

In general, moderate exercise will not affect your creatinine levels. As you continue to exercise and build muscle mass, your creatinine levels may increase slightly but not to abnormal levels. And yours are not abnormal. Also, one test can show an increase such as yours and then the next test, you get yet another lower result. Your in normal ranges, so no worries. See what next test shows. But also remember, so many things can produce the small change you had in your levels. If you were hydrated or not that day of test. What you had to eat the day before the test. Did you exercise right before the test. Was one test a "normal" blood test and the other a "fasting" test. Don't worry. Seems fine. And exercise is great.

Thank you for the information. I run up to 12 kms per session, 3-4 times a week. So thats more or less 36kms per week. Is that still moderate? Im training for a half marathon I just want to make sure that it wont damage my kidney.

I would not call that moderate. Certainly could contribute to the slight increase you had in creatinine. But the benefits far outweigh the small increase, especially considering you are still in the normal range.
