Does anyone actually keep track of this? It seems impossible. I can't even find it listed on anything I buy. And the ranges I've seen online vary widely. Davita for example had two different listings for the same hamburger at a popular fast food joint. One was like 330 and the same burger was also listed at 187! It seems that if CKD is as common as they suggest this would be easier to track. Any tips on tracking Phospherous?

Phospherous
I agree that it is difficult. I use Davita menu tracker but they do not always show phosphorus content. Sometimes use other web sites like foodofy, nutrition facts list, go to products web site etc. Then I use a spread sheet to track it too. Anyone else have any favorite web sites?
Hi, my renal dietician rang me up the other week as my phosphate levels had risen. They sent me a low phosphate diet booklet, and I am hoping that will lower it.
If you google Basildon and Thurrock guide to a low phosphate diet you should be able to download the guide that I have. Hope it helps and works.
I do. There is an app you can put on your phone. It's not exact but close enough. My phosphorous and potassium were both great at last lab. It's called kidney APPetite.
It actually tracks anything you need, protein, sodium, phosphorous, potassium, etc
I just found an app called 'Phosphorus Foods Diet Guide' am trying to download it.
I do. I use the form from Matea Ford's Create Your Own Diet Plan. There are nine pages of information regarding sodium, potassium, phosphorous, protein, carbs and calories. For foods that I am not able to find there, I usually do a search for phosphorous levels in________. This is usually pretty successful. But, I do agree, phosphorous is harder to track.
