Iron supplement

Does anyone know if floradix iron supplement is ok to take with ckd. I really struggle with iron sulfate. It's like putting cork in so to speak and it makes me feel lethargic when I'm constipated. I googled floradix and ckd but came back with nothing

my consultant thinks iron supplement are a waste of time-most of it is never absorbed, turn your movements black, get constipated. best to concentrate on changing diet.

Hi,I can't take tablets for iron so have infusions every now&then when needed.Might be worth asking about them.

Hi, do they wait until your iron gets very low or a little low. My hgb is ok, it's my ferritin I can't raise
