Mind going - can't communicate properly

I can't speak more than a few words without losing the thread especially over the phone - I am only able to communicate slowly and prefer writing / email - my wife would help but she has died - I am totally alone with no next of kin

Hi Selfesteem, I've been going through this lately also. For the last six months, my physical health has been deteriorating and my anxiety has been the worst it's ever been. I do have a few brothers but have shut them out because they don't support me in any way with any thing. They only want my support for their problems and to vent to me about them. I'm not able to do this now because of my health. I feel very alone in this journey, but I've found that having any of my family around at this time in my life is hindering my health. I also have a terrible time communicating with my different providers but I think that's part of my anxiety. I feel very alone with all of this too. I hope things get better for us! Take care ❤

You both sound as though this support system is something that you both need and will get the support you need. The people here do care and do offer support and suggestions. Just so you know, the mental fog is natural. Also, for both of you, the more you know about ckd, the more powerful you can feel.
