New guy on the block

Hello my name is Valdo and I'm new with a few questions. My latest GFR number was 32 and I would like to better that number to preclude the inevitable from occurring. I would like to know what not to eat rather than what to eat. I am diabetic also. Appreciate any comments at all. Served for 26 years in the Army.

Welcome! For myself there are a couple of things I do. Sometimes I use Davita recipes(they have them for diabetics also) I purchased a program called the kidney disease solution. It lists different foods to stay away from as well as ones to eat. It also provides instruction on taking supplements, exercise and relaxation techniques. I highly recommend it. I also have an app on my phone that lets me put in my food and calculates the amounts of protein, sodium, phosphorous and potassium, etc. called kidney appetite. Above all, I pray! Agree access Davila and Kidney Org. I also took Raw Apple Cider Vinegar one teaspoon a day (on the cautious side) it seems to have worked for me! 39 to currently 66.
