I haven't been well for at least a year. And finally got blood work done after going into ER with unbearable migraines. I am a stage 3 and in 44 years old. Also have liver failure. I'm n the medical field but right now I'm a dear in the headlights

I'm sorry to hear that you haven't been well for at least a year. Do you have a primary care provider or a specialist in whom you have confidence? I am in stage 3 kidney disease, but am otherwise doing fairly well for my age, 86. Are you in the U.S.?

I will be 70 in Aug.....have been diagnosed for a year with stage 3....maybe it is me, but no one seems to get too worried about it all at this stage, I think patients do, but my kidney specialist kind of waved it all off, saying with my age, weight, and GFR, he wouldn't be concerned....??? I have been as low as 35 back up to 50 and now like 47...up and down.....things do wear out, apparently my kidneys are not functioning as well as when I might have been 30=40=50...or 60, but now....numbers are lower......
