Further to my 1st blog, I have some good news and at the moment positive news to share. I went for an assessment day at the company I left in March on Monday, but in a different part of the group. I was very nervous, but I did the best I could and received a call on Tuesday to tell me I have got the job I went for.

I was talking to a colleague who I worked with who is now working there she put a word in for me, and said that I would be an asset to the business. I know she has done me a favour and that I will not have to let her down but the interview also depended on me selling myself favourably which I did as I have been offered the job.

I start there on the 13th May, and will of course ensure they are aware I have dyslexia so there is no hassle like I had when I worked for the company before and hope that they help me rather than make problems.

I even told the interviewer that I have proved I can do admin work and have lots of experience in this type of work, which is true. We had several tests one being a spelling test which I think I may have done well on ha! ha!

I will keep you informed on what happens watch this space.

Thank you for reading my 2nd blog

Thank you madcaI35 I am very proud of myself after all the hassle I have been put through by my old bosses. I hope that my new bosses can see past my dyslexia and encourage me to succeed in the role, also by helping me if and when I need it.
