I have just been diagnosed with dyslexia and dyspraxia. My
favourite fonts to use are sans serif or calibra in 12 point and 1.5 line spacing. As yet I don't have colour overlays but may be getting some of these soon.
Just to add to my previous comment. I am very interested to learn about your project about raising awareness about dyslexia. If there is anything else I can help with or get involved in please feel free to contact me!
Ariel 11 or Tahoma 11. I'm happy with black on white, as long as the contrast is clear. I deal better with separated boxes of text rather than vast tracts...
Hi my son aged 10 has dyslexia he uses dyslexie font at school and comic sans at home. Pastel coloured paper work well for him I.e. Green and buff. He also uses green overlays. Hope this helps.
Thank you all for your responses the main reason for asking the questions is I'm designing a poster and e-Book as well as some other literature for my final major project (Dyslexia Awareness Campaign ) and i needed some primary research so this has really helped.
My colour keeps changing. It started as pink, then blue, then orange. I tend to use blue on my computer screen when my eyes begin to play up and I have my exams at university printed on orange paper. Fonts don't really make a difference to me. I struggle with all of them.
