Weight loss
you need to eat less calories than you use in a day. For instance an average man will use 2000 to 2200 calories each day. So to lose weight you need to consume less. 1500 would do it. Fir women the figure is different but the principle us the same. Worked for me. I lost 80 pounds.
Please check out the DIABETES RESEARCH AND WELLNESS FOUNDATION WEBSITE (drwf.org.uk/diabetes-leaflets) and click on Diabetes and Diet. You can download or listen to the information. Hope this helps.
If going to the gym is your only weight loss strategy, it may not work that well. Cutting your kcal is much more successful. Consider looking at the BMI information on the NHS site and then you can adjust your intake. Also really look at what you're doing in the gym. There can be a lot of waiting time, especially on weights work. If you have just started at the gym or are really increasing your time or activity, you may lose better going every other day rather than every day. This gives the muscles time to recover from their growing activities and means they shed water which they hold otherwise. Well that's what a trainer told me and it did seem to be true. Maybe add in some lower level exercise which takes time to do, like going for a walk or swimming on the alternate days.
You need to be consistent in working out, fix date and time to do without any excuses to yourself, eat less at night than daytime, if you are still hungry at midnight than choose some fruits low in sugar and plain biscuits will hold hunger till morning. The best form of exercise is walking, jogging or running for those who can do otherwise do some yoga. Dont worry on why you are not losing , keep on doing you will surely see the result, do not expect miracles.
Another tips: try some cinnamon powder sook overnight and add little honey nexxt morning and drink on empty stomach .
