Still with it, this is the longest I have been completely AF for a very long time.
Yes ditto to the above. A massive, major breakthrough is my other half has joined me for dry January. I think after seeing a year of me moderating he has become curious and wants to lend support. A real blessing. This time last year I was going it alone. We are not islands. We need people not necessarily who have done this journey but just people not drinking loads. It helps to normalise not drinking. Moderating or quitting for good keep at it. You have nothing to lose ( might not feel like it) and everything to gain.
Still haven't had a drink this month - woohoo! - but my sleep has been really bad lately and I don't know why. Anyone else having this issue? It's probably related to something else entirely, but it's really frustrating. And, trust me, I do all the stuff they recommend for good sleep hygiene. Insomnia is the worst!
See I’m the opposite. Drink makes me sleep terrible! If I’ve had a bender, it plagues my sleep for the week. I have more dreams and dont wake up as periodically through the night when I’ve not had drink. Obviously an individual thing.
