Week 1

Week one went better than I expected. Managed four days drink free out if my 5 pledged. Went well until Day 7, had stayed within recommended units but couldn’t resist opening a bottle of wine which ended up empty.

However, being positive I am happy that I have reduced the amount of alcohol I would normally consume over a week.

Planning to do fulfill my pledge this week.

Just a small glitch, I feel confident you’ll get back to your aims. I found it helpful to have some fizzy non alcoholic low sugar drinks in when I first started cutting down. My particular favourite at the time included hand picked Rose petals. It made the drink extra special for me. I noticed the other day, I’ve got about 8 bottles which I haven’t touched for months as I’ve graduated to plain spring water 5 evenings a week. ( my concerns over possible kidney and liver problems spurred me on. )
