Thank you for your kindness and care, 2 weeks ago my youngest daughter was diagnosed with cirrhosis at 24 years old she hasn't taken the fibroscan yet but she is sooooo upset and scared beyond scared! I'm her father and I quit drinking 12 years ago after 20 hard years of it! My first cousin ( who was like my brother ) I was an only child but in 2004 he passed away at age 39 of cirrhosis 2 weeks before he was to get a transplant! It was so awful seeing that happen to him and I'm still not over it! Now my baby daughter is at possibly stage 1 or just before it and I'm just at a loss of words I try everyday to help her and to show her if she quits now she could possibly live a longer life, she is drastically cutting down to taper I'm just asking for prayers and someone to talk to! Thank you again for the invite

Daughter just diagnosed with early cirrhosis at age 24
Hi, that’s quite a shock both for you and her especially with the family history. Knowing early, I hope you can turn it around. If you go up to the search button and type in ‘liver” you may find information there that is more suited to your needs. All the best.
Hello so sorry for what's happend in your family and now your daughter, I'm.afrais there's not much support on drink free but you will find the British liver trust site very supportive with lots of people similar and dealing with liver problems, it's good she is cutting down as sometimes can cause siezure or problems to just stop AA is the best support group, I think with her been young she will be able to get a transplant and the you get we are the cells can rejouvinate with more chance of repair I'm no expert but there is as said better informed people having treatment and various stages on the British liver trust site a admin on there was a alcoholic and got a transplant, sending heeling vibres to you and your daughter 🌟🤗🌻
Thank you so much, I just joined that group and they all seem very knowledgeable and helpful 😊🙏❤️

prayers for you and your daughter-stay strong! I can’t imagine how hard this must be-I hope you will get some good news soon. It’s awesome she is cutting back!!! Take care.
