These kind of queries, at least to me, indicate unpreparedness. Brisk walking is good according to me. Apart from individual preferences, benefits from such walk is important to note. I have found results. Therefore, such advice.
Any thing done to burn your excess calories is good..
Dear friend! According to my understanding both types of excercises do have their own respective benebits. In other words both should be continued for our benefit
Any exercise should be done in sustained manner for a fixed time ,say 40 min. during which your breathing rate,heart rate,B.P should be slightly elevated.Your oxygen intake and metabolic rate will increase.Spend some time to warm up before exercise and cooling down after.After concluding,you should be able to come back to normalcy in a few minutes.You should enjoy a comfort level all through the process.The process is important not what type of exercise.You can also do swimming,dancing etc.All are good.
Both are beneficial. Don't think this or that just walking that is good news.

Brish walk especially in the morning between 4.30.A.M to 5.30 AM is preferred. One should go for 5-6 km at a stretch. Open park is a ideal place for walking. Go preferably alone and while walking one should gossipping with with other mates. Silence will give you more peace.
