Insulin injections are prescribed by physicians if only they find the sugar level is acute...otherwise they will prescribe only tablets. Take the advice of the doctor aft checking up your body conditions. There is no question which is better...it all depends upon your body conditions, age and the severity of sugar levels...ok?

And I forgot..Even in cases where insulin injections are prescribed, when the sugar levels come down to controllable levels, the physicians relieve the patients from undergoing the agony of injections and change over to equally efficient tablets. It happened to me one year before when I was hospitalized for some heart ailments and mild tremors...first I underwent one month full of insulin injections twice a day, soon after I was discharged from hospital...then my health recouped and the doctor promptly changed over to tablets. Then only he said it is a myth people generally have in mind "once insulin always insulin" hahahaha... keep your mind open friend ...wish you a happy recovery from insulin injections..but for heavens sake take good care to monitor your sugar levels ...by adopting to healthy foods as advised; avoiding whatever the doctor says to avoid; and always be happy that God has given you the greatest opportunity to live in this world and help others! Wish you good luck!

Thanks,It is quite true, once is not for ever.Maintaining strict diet&lifestyle often tempted to deviate causing flactuation of HB1c,causing chronic progression of disease plus aging of beta cells. After 10 years of disease-onset,sugar level tend to uncontroll by orals.Multi organs affection starts. These can be mostly controlled by timely advising Insulin, which has been improved a lot so far toxicity, preparation&dosing intervals.

INSULINE is best WHEN YOU CANT CONTROL SUGAR LEVEL BELOW 130.

tHERE IS no option to insuline.all tablets have side effects.insuline has no side effects. injection is not a problem as new generation pen type syringes came with smallest needle came.this pen costs 800 rupees.

if you have sugar level in morning above 160-190,if you cant bring down,if you dont want to go for dialysis, then use insuline.
