What should be the vegetarian menu for a week having weight loss due to diabetes age 50+ ?

Avoid potato, Banana ,rice, maida( all bakery products as they content sugar) & have as much as leafy vegetables (Spinach, cauliflower leafs), salad without mayonnaise,Lady finger(Bhindi)/ karela( remove seeds) if possible eat raw, Reggi/Bajra Roti,without oil/butter.
As indicated above avoid as much as possible heavy & rich food like Potato, Butter, Ice Cream (lot of sugar) etc in the night. Don't eat late in night.
Normally, rice is ok in the lunch and night dinner should be with wheat item like rotis(preferably Pulks-without oil or ghee.
Watch and monitor your diet and sugar levels and avoid those which do not go with your system or increase your blood sugar levels.This is what I am doing since last 7 years after I have become diabetic.
