i am having one doubt..my glucose of blood ... - Diabetes India
i am having one doubt..my glucose of blood level before tiffin is never reducing below 120 mgl and 230 mgl after 2 hours taken tiffin. why
Hi, the peak level of sugar for a diabetic is at this time, cos morning we take breakfast and then medicine and may be tea or bites...so the sugar is being processed more than night , At night we eat take medicine and sleep so only little is processed by our organs.no food is taken for at least 7 hours after that. At noon after lunch also the same happens that is the peakest time for the sugar to shoot. if ur on insulin adjust ur morning dosage.And better if u can change ur diet with avoiding snacks tea coffee, instead use light less slt lemon juice, butter milk,water , tomato juice and salads, noon increase ur vegetable,leafy vegetables,dals ,channa, peas ,raw vegetables if non veg.take fish also just try 100% sure the situation will change. And notice these are not expensive all this can be got by the common man.Hope u will try. take care
thanks a lot for those who are answering my question..
People do not realise the benefits of walking. You are very right in stressing the need for walking particularly for Diabetics.
* Don't consume food after 6:00 pm.(Alternate medicine).
* Increase your daily exercise like brisk walking daily for 30 minutes.
* Increase the dosage of your medicine in consultation of your doctor.
* Eat less food more times in a day.
* Avoid food in dinner parties or marriage parties. This may help in reducing blood sugar.
* Avoid single high concentrated meals.
* Food high in fibre content like vegetables, whole pulses, fruits, etc.
Ideal combination of diabetic diet should be:--
Carbohydrates: 55-60%.
