Iβm currently reading βRose Madderβ, by Stephen King. I had started it a few weeks ago near the middle to the end of October. Iβm in the middle of βPart 4: The Manta Rayβ and on page 168. Itβs where Rose is trying to go and get a new place to live so she can leave the βDaughters and Sistersβ safe house. She had made some friends, but the rule is that each person can stay up to 8 days before they get told that they canβt be allowed to stay. Rose came there because she was trying to get away from her husband, Norman Daniels. While Rose is at the βDaughters and Sistersβ safe house, she went to a pawnshop and traded her engagement and wedding rings for a painting she wanted and got that was on the wall. Itβs the first item she can say is belonging to her personally after getting it out of the pawnshop.
When Rose was on the curb of the pawnshop, she was offered a job to read a book out loud to have her voice be recorded and used. Letβs see how this goes.
Okay, now to you! What have you been reading or plan on starting to read this month?
The next book to read after β Rose Madderβ, by Stephen King will be β6th Targetβ, by James Patterson. β6th Targetβ is part of the βThe Womenβs Murder Clubβ series.
