Wheat has gluten in it. Some can't eat it. Same for me. Gives me cramps.

Wheat is our staple food. Generally we are born & brought up with wheat. So according to me, you should not avoid it. You just add wheat bran atta in wheat flour. 100 gm wheat bran in 1kg wheat flour. This will give you full fibre content for the whole day & carb content is also reduced. 1roti of wheat flour of 23gm has 12 carbs. But wheat bran roti content 9.5 carbs. One more thing always try to control diabetes with staple food.

Millets are good but they are Goitrogenic, people with Hypothyroid issues should take it occasionally.
