I am a diabetic person of 65 years. I used to take one glass of water mixed lemon juice. But some body told me that taking water with lemon juice without honey increases the weight. Is it correct. Pl.also advise about the use of honey

the issue with lemons these days is they come from turkey and are sprayed with a dangerous preservative so something to watch for and if you are buying the bottled lemon juice there are 4 major brands one with 10% water one with 20% water and one with 30% water so the less water you pay for the better but yes lemon is a good idea
India is growing the finest types of lemons. It will be available every where in India and if you go to supermarkets to small streets in villages, you can find people selling lemons.
I think, it's a part of globalization, any products from any part of the world is available in Indian cities also. Lemon also has no exception. I am also eager to know the benefits of lemon water + salt to diabetics.
