Yes. It does give interesting readings. In my case some days, I go to bed with reading less than 100, @ 2 am it remains so, but when I get up in the morning, it goes above hundred. The so called liver dumping. Medfree please educate us on what is liver dumping and how bad it is

Normally most cases BS once returned to baseline, it remains there. It may rise if some food is very slow digesting or person is going through dawn phenomenon. Few people have BS fluctuations throughout the day even after 3 to 4 hours after eating.

Some time back when I stared emphsizing the need to educate about basics and finer points of Diabetes,in this very forum.it appeared that sky has burst and every body was shouting at me.Now see members are asking to be educated. They are very knowledgeable persons, but then every body can't know every thing.so we all can help each other by making things about every thing related to diabetes very clear and filling the gaps in each other's understanding and perception .

Hi patliputra,

You are right but the problem is that most persons think that he/she knows everything. So whenever somebody talk about anything new/else, as you rightly said it will be treated as if the sky has burst.

Test 120min. after start of a meal. To get proper BS profile, occasionally test before meals. 1hr., 2hrs and 3hrs. so you can get idea about how BS behaves. Whether it returns to baseline levels or remains high even after 3hrs.
