You are more than right. Keep good control on diet and regular monitoring of BS and hba1c once in 3 months. Some posts in this forum on LCHF diet can be of help.

You R on the right track. I am following your path for the last one year. Please minimize carbohydrate intake. Check your HBA1C every three months in a lab to make sure that your D is under control. Check BG levels at home and based on that play with your diet. Keep the items that help you to keep the numbers within limits and discard others from your menu. This way, I am keeping my HBA1C at 5.1. Try to achieve this, you can do it. GOOD LUCK

FITNESS and DIET are critical to good health. You may start Yoga and exercise in addition to walking. You may follow LOW CARB diet and take fruits-Gova, Orange, Appleand Papia for control of BSL. vegetables and nuts.

Try to split all you eat and take for 60% of your normal intake. Do not start medicine.

Dont touch direct sugar, sweet, Rice, root vegetable, ice cream, trans fat and junk stuff at all

Wishing you a good health.
