Dear rchbinay ,
Januvia replacement is ZITA from Glenmark. Buy Zita 100mg. It has a groove in centre and you can break into two to get each piece having 50mg Sitagliptin Phosphate. The tablet box of 7 tablets costs Rs 199/-. which is 30% less than Januvia. Splitting a 100mg tab reduces yr cost to 35%. If you buy from Medplus store or another economical chain they will give you another 10% discount. Happy? My phone is 9158992676. Gald to help anyone who likes to cut cost intelligently as a community service.
Thank you anilgupta101.Now it is being highlighted in forums that long time usage of Januvia leads to negative impact on our health. Can u please throw some light on that?
both come under the group:"gliptins" with a risk of precipitating pancreatitis and also predispose to pancreatic cancer,on long term use and hence to be used judiciously only under a physicians advice and care
Januvia 50,consult ur dr..I too were using but after Blood test ,HbA1c test Glycosylated hemoglobin was 9.0 ,iyt should ADa 7.o in month of june.then dr.recommended Janumet50/500mg(Twice daily).Again teste in september2013,it was 7.1.Now dr.switchmit to once daily. All diabetic medicine r costly.Do youga.
Just check salt combination of medicine print on pack. Ask medical store attended to replace with same combination in other co.
stop taking gliptin medicines.it is asertained that it causes cancer. It is safe to use basic drug..Gliclazide tablet(generic name) are good and causes less hypoglacimc episodes.consult ur doctor.
I tried sitagliptin sometimes back and unfortunately developed herpes like lesion in my throat.Infact diagnosed as Herpes only by my ENT spec.who put me on antiherpes medicines without any results.Lesions disappeared as soon as i stopped sitagliptin.
best way to keep your BS under control is to rely more on medicines like gliclazide, metformins and insulins if reqd
do you sell this product.
