I have diabetes since about 10 years , it was under control with mediation,now days the sugar level is 170 fasting,& 210 pp, is it alarming?

your Diabetes is poorly controlled. it is better to switch over to insulin injection with advice of your doctor. otherwise more complcation may develop

it is better to keep your FBS within 60-90 mgm% with PPBS 90-120 mgm%. it appears that your DM is poorly controle. So conult your doctor to keep it under controle.Along with have checking of Eyes $ Serum Creatinin ,Serum Urea.Not much alarming but keep it within controle

If it is not alarming now, do not get disheartened; if the present trend continues it will, in a few years. You ask any sufficiently EXPERIENCED diabetic for confirmation.
