It is always good to have fruits but their sugar level should be low. The quantity also shhjould be advised or it can be known from your doctor.

If HbA1C is less than 7 ,one can take liberty of taking any fruit .If it is more than 7 ,avoid fruits with high sugar contents and eat others in moderation....say 100-300 gms depending upon sugar level of fruits
