Accu check 100 strips pack
I think once the pack is opened, it has expiry days. 1500 will last long for more than 6 months.
Please do not make political comments on this board. This board is exclusively for diabetes. Thanks.
I agree .
I agree with type 2.
what is the correct ness of accu check meter reading what is the percentage of fault in this meter. and what about you can tell about freestyle abbott meter.
The expiry date is an year from now. My pharmacist. Gave me for 1500/- for 100 strips and 25 lancets(mrp 125). Two. months back I bought 50 strips at Rs. 1000/-.
Please allow me to submit a couple of points for the consideration off all concerned 1) Accu Check active strips of two packs of 50 -50 are available @Rs 1500 for direct buyers from their portal. One needs to register his or her email ID to avail that and other facilty. In fact , they are now giving 5% further discount to their 'loyal' customers. 2) I have been using these strips along with their gluco meter and they are fairly accurate( I compare their readings with those of lab at least once a quarter and find not much difference. 3) My gut feeling is that with new drug price control regime to be effective by July-end cost of insulin , gluco meter and strips , particularly of MNCs will further come down. 4) Buying strips and insulin cartridges in bulk @ cheaper rates is not a good option as storing them properly in home in India is a difficult task.
I may add that I have bought 100 strips through ebay.com @rs 1200 twice during last 6 months. Purchased the Meter at WalMart USA 6 yrs back. I am more than satisfied with accucheck.
diabetes medicines and testing strips must be lower the prize to reach the poor and get a low diabetes population in future. the medical authorities in the higher level (Govt) must be take initiative on this path before the grand election to get vote bank ?
Ours is also a govt. by the people for the people, so why not members of the public get together and bring about a scheme by the Federal Govt. where all diabetic patients (certified by their medical practitioners) get free diabetic supplies by producing their senior citizen cards with the medical certificates from "approved" medical stores, who should be reimbursed by the Govt. Dont you feel this is in the interest of the greater public and the nation to ensure every diabetic patient is able to test one's sugar level, go by the "warnings", and bring about a better standard of healthlife before going blind, or having kidney problems and so many health consequences brought about by this "sugary" problem..........Distributing of laddus and other sweet items should be minimised if we care for our guests' health.
all. Dont just read this. Get together with your friends, neighbors etc. and create a wave of public demands to curb further deterioration of health due to diabetes. good luck.
There is so much to be done .Good quality education brings about awareness of healthy eating habits and community living with good civic sense. In India the authority should ensure that hands which touch food must not touch money in any form as coins and soiled currency notes are carriers of germs and spread diseases. People from all walks of life are seen spitting on roads.Pesticides and insecticides' residue in our food is slow poison .Our Government is shrugging off the responsibilities. Toxic waste from industry and hospitals finds it's way to water bodies like lakes and rivers. We can save billions of taxpayers' money and save valuable lives of our people by providing clean unadulterated food free of DDT and such pesticides. CO and CO2 emissions from public vehicles, amount of dust in the city is making us sick this is contribution of bad governance.Nothing political about it.
We can see examples of countries like Singapore and most western countries
who are sensitive about welfare of the citizens.
