Look at the link given for Summary of Foods. Explore other links given in the page that the link opens, also.

As a veg, your diet will mostly revolve around vegetable, nuts & seeds & fat. Take a look at what vegetables are allowed & start making preparations using them, at the same time replacing the "Avoid Vegetables".

You must have googled "lchf diet for vegetarians", do the same again. Take a look at the items & modify them as per your situation.

It is a question of devising Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner for 7 days. In short, 7 Breakfast Recipes, 7 Lunch Recipes & 7 Dinner Recipes. Then a repeat of these, week after week, with an occassional lapse.

Use the Glucometer to monitor the effect of each item at least 3 times for the same item on 3 different days & keep track of which item spikes & which does not.

You must be thinking, instead of all this blah-blah, why not simply post the 7 days menu. :-D

Frankly speaking, I spoke about an occassional lapse for you above. In my case, it is occassional discipline :-D.

Thanks

Thanks

You can add paneer in any sabji or salad preparation. If you like cheese can be eaten as it is or add pieces in any food preparation.Virgin coconut oil or olive oil in salads. Butter or ghee can be added to soups. Sprouted mung is good alternative for salads. Add peanuts, almonds, walnuts to your meals. Chana or chana dal can be part of meals as it has one of the lowest glycemic response in cereals.

It is mostly modification of conventional recipes. e.g. Idlies can be prepared from wheat dalia, chana dal dalia and oats. But moderation is needed as there is only replacement of cabs.

Without own glucometer it is impossible to decide how much carbs one can tolerate.
