I'm T2, overweight and sedentary job - not much going for me eh ? But on the other hand I am well controlled, healthy(ish) and carry on with "normal" life. I find that learning about my body, my condition etc helps me to control whats going on inside.

I get information from research for the future (researchforthefuture.org) about whats going on in the world of research, and gives me the opportunity to get involved where I want to. They also do this for respiratory and heart disease as well as diabetes.

I've learned so much, and even when information on studies that are not for me - it still keeps me informed.

Nice to know that this "service" is out there
