What is interrelationship between diabetes and hypertension ?
It depends on the genes of the person and family members background.
What I "feel": due to glycosylation of Hb, cells will suffer shortage of Oxygen. Probably misinterpreting this to be due to shortsupply of blood, body-intelligence must have signalled heart to pump more blood. If thingsare so, BP is bobound to increase.
This may appear to be an immature thought to pandits, but to me this appears logical.
Pardon me if I am crossing the limits.
A point to ponder . There may be hypoxia in cells because of affinity of glycoselated globin to oxygen.it restricts release of oxygen into cells.
But the blood pressure increase due to increased force of heart beat,as in atherosclerosis not mere increase in number of heat beats .Normally diabetics do not experience increase in heart rate.Theoretically you may have a point but it does not happen in practice.
