Following my recent post from Ivor Cummings at the Widowmaker film screening, here's the Q&A first part. If you are not somehow swayed by the benefits of LCHF this will certainly make you think. Especially considering the qualifications of the panellists

Interesting video. I'm not a ful LCHF advocate, mainly because high fat actually gives me problems due to my hiatus hernia and gallstones but I do understand that it works for some people.

I try to eat a low/med carb diet (T2 on metformin and HbA1c of 6.1) with low/med fat and it works for me. LCHF isn't for everyone I have a friend with several other health issues including arteriosclerosis that procludes her from going LCHF (she's T2 insulin dependent). My view is that if LCHF works for you that's great, but we must be careful in telling people that its the only way to go, it isn't! Has long as you are eating a well balanced diet and exercising you should not be made to feel that by not following LCHF that you are doing something wrong (a point which has been made to me in the past!).
