How does it take to get your period back after getting off the birth control pills

Hi ,I have been off my birth controlpill since August 3,of this year .I only been on them for a couple of months. Now that im off I have not had a period yet.It's only been for this month. Took one pregnancy test it was negative. What should i do now.

It takes about 3 months for periods to get normalise after stopping contraceptive pill.

Actually there are two types of the birth control pills ... The combined oral contraceptive and the progestine only contraceptive. May I know the type you took?
