Any advice would be great

Hello I quite smoking about 5 years ago. Like a lot of people I gained weight (50 pounds) but I still felt better than I did smoking. In 2021 I decided that I needed to start working on my weight. Than the worst happened I ended up in the ER and found out I had diabetes. The doctors haven’t put me on any meds as of yet. Been controlling everything thing with diet and exercise. Hoping to keep it that way. If anyone has any tips would be great full.

Make sure to take the right meds. Do you have type 2?

Yes type 2 been tracking my numbers really close. My doctor says I’m been doing really good. At the end of June going to visit with a dietitian. To help with eating different stuff not the same meals day in and out.
