Oxygen Therapy and tooth infection

I have been looking into the benefits of having oxygen therapy for a tooth infection. Has anybody had any experience of this? It is mentioned in a nutritional healing book by Paul Pitchford and seems to have some benefit for certain conditions including infections (on Pubmed). But its hard to find any evidence or at least anecdotal experiences of it helping. Thanks
