Hi, I have a slight pain above one of my front teeth - it's making the whole of my right side feel slightly numb. The pain isn't uncomfortable just noticeable but I am very worried. I have always been told off for brushing my teeth too hard and I have been trying to use my electric toothbrush more regularly. My gums have some recession because of this.
My gums aren't bleeding (however I haven't tried flossing them), its not uncomfortable when I eat, perhaps slightly when I bite down with my front teeth. I only noticed yesterday when I rubbed my face and noticed the skin under my nose but above my mouth felt sore when pressed. Now, if I press the gum above my front teeth, it's also sore.
I'm worried it's Gum Disease or something along those lines but it is isolated to one section of my mouth and there's no discomfort anywhere else.
Any ideas?
