I recently had an abcess in my tooth which I got treated however while taking the anti biotics the other side of my mouth began causeing me some pain, around 3 of my teeth the gums are very swollen and sore, my dentist has advised salt water and corsidyl mouth wash which helped at first however is now doing nothing, I'm constantly uncomfortable and honestly feel like crying, has anyone else got any suggestions to help soothe my gum pain?? I'm scared to eat ect Christmas has been horrible, I am back at my dentist next week for a deep clean so I'm hoping that will help maybe?

I've been like this for nearly 4 months now and I just want to feel better!

I sound awful I know and probably very dramatic but I'm just at my wits end!!

Happy new year everyone

X

I have a similar problem and use Gengigel. It comes in gel and liquid, but I find the gel more soothing. Google it online and it will come up with lots of different suppliers. In addition, try chewing sugar free gum as this helps to keep the saliva flowing and will soothe the gums this way.
