Some times it drives me insane to have my socks or clothes in contact with my skin. Is it a parkinsons symptom or menopause?

I think it may be the PD. Socks, long sleeve shirts - can get very annoying.
I am 62 male and have PD, I also find it very hard to have close next ot my body.
71 female and no, not bothered
I have not found that I am hypersensitive to touch, but I am to noise.
my husband is very sensitive to this. Also weight of blankets on him. Very hard to keep him warm in the winter.
I have extremely sensitivity to light. Also heat above 25C makes me extremely ill.
Yes I have gone through spells of this issue. There are certain fabrics that feel like i am wearing fire and ice. Sometimes even if it is another person touching me or the wind can be irritating. I am thankful not all the time.
My hands and feet....constantly! I'll do anything to avoid wearing socks/shoes. Someone else called it "fire and ice" and that's the best description I've heard. It's like those sore muscle rubs that make your skin feel hot and cold at the same time. Both hands and feet sometimes feel like blocks of wood when I wake up in the morning too. That tends to pass within an hour or so...but I've dropped a lot of coffee cups in the last 6 years.
(48 - female - no menopause yet)
I'm very sensitive to touch and noise! I feel very uncomfortable if I'm wearing shoes. I also seem to startle easily. I didn't have these problems before PD.
