Slightly, yes.
They say that there are more men,but in my support group there are just as many women as men.
Men are one and a half times more likely to have Parkinson's than women according to PDF. Men are starting to come to the PD exercise program whereas at first it was all women!
In an update to its 2006 report on the Pd population of AUSTRALIA (Deloitte Access Economics report on the prevalence of PD 2011) it was found that 52% of the PD population was male and that this hadn't changed since 2006
